The Spa Complex – SSPF Summer Stroll

Join us as we support Friends member and Secretary, Linda Harvey, as she shares the history of the complex which was developed with the goal of increasing both therapeutic and recreational use of the park. The tour will also cover the prolific period from 1932-1936 when the Hall of Springs, Simon Baruch Administration and Research Center, the Roosevelt Bath Houses, Victoria Pool, the Gideon Putnam Hotel, and a bottling plant were all constructed.
