Accessible activities, music and food on Saturday, June 13

(Saratoga Springs, NY) – Saratoga Spa State Park is hosting Get Outdoors & Get Together Day from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 offering accessible activities, music and food. A statewide event, Get Outdoors & Get Together Day brings together people of all abilities, ages, identities, and backgrounds for fun, healthful activities as part of the Governor’s initiative to Get Offline, Get Outside, and to ensure inclusivity of access to state public lands. Participants are encouraged to try new skills and enjoy a range of free introductory-level outdoor recreation activities.

In partnership with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, several activities, crafts and performances will be offered throughout the event at Saratoga Spa State Park’s Creekside Classroom Environmental Education Center.

10:30am: Drum Circle
11:00am: Accessible Mineral Springs Tour
11:00am-12:00pm: The band Flame performs
12:00pm: Bilingual Story Time with Project Growing Minds
A special presentation of The Very Hungry Caterpillar featuring the book’s sensory elements – to touch, smell, and play with.
12:15pm: Drum Circle
1:00pm: Accessible Mineral Springs Tour
1:00pm: Bilingual Story Time with Project Growing Minds: Learn About Frogs

Food trucks, vendors and area organizations will also be on hand.

Quiet, secluded zones and sensory kits that contain noise-canceling headphones will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water, snacks and sunscreen.

Get Outdoors & Get Together Day activities will be held in and around Creekside Classroom Environmental Education Center on Geyser Loop Road, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The Center features restrooms, accessible parking and access to Geyser Creek, a playground and picnic areas.

There is no vehicle use fee to enter the park for this event.
