This restoration project has been revised and now includes the restoration of the original spring house, revitalization of the trails, the installation of interpretive signs, a pedestal fountain and sitting area on the east side of the Coesa Pond near the Coesa Pavilion. As a result, this will provide access to the Coesa mineral water for the first time in nearly 30 years.
The Friends were awarded a $75,000 grant from Parks & Trails New York in conjunction with the Office of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation for the restoration efforts.
Work started on restoring the historic spring house in Summer 2022 and will continue in 2023! (see below for progress photos and updates).
