A major renovation of the Coesa Spring is in progress!
Work started on restoring the historic spring house in Summer 2022 and will continue in 2023! (see below for progress photos)
This restoration will revitalize the trails, the original spring house and walk bridge over Coesa Pond. As a result, this will provide access to the Coesa mineral water for the first time in nearly 30 years.
The Friends were awarded a $75,000 grant from Parks & Trails New York in conjunction with the Office of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation for the restoration efforts.
